Domestic Intelligence and Counterterrorism steering group
June 23, 2010
The Madison Policy Forum is currently conducting a year long study of domestic intelligence programs at the federal, state, and local level in the US. The goal of this project is to bring greater clarity to the ongoing debate about the role of these programs in preventing the next attack and to help identify best practices for enhancing the capability of state and local police to conduct more effective intelligence programs in their particular city or region.
